Department of Computer
Science and Engineering (CSE), Institute of Science, Trade and Technology
(ISTT) situated at Mirpur, Dhaka started its academic activities 1998, with 42
undergraduate student .
Computer Science and
Engineering is the systematic study of the feasibility, structure, expression,
and mechanization of the methodical processes. The golden age of computing (and of computer scientists) has barely
begun. Students choose to major in computer science for a variety of reasons.
Many of our students graduate to rewarding computer-related careers in software
engineering .
100% proud graduates are
working in different government and private organizations as well as in teaching
professions. Currently, CSE department completes total 148 credits within 10
semesters in four years. There are two types of courses diploma education
holder . This department is now taking
60 students at the undergraduate level in each year.
Admission Requirements:
Passed
in HSC or its’ equivalent with min. GPA – 2.5 from any discipline. Students
shall have to maintain the following criteria:
A
minimum GP-3 in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Biology or in any relevant
subject. Age of the students must be below 22 years.
Steps
in Admission:
The
prescribed application package can be collected with a payment of Tk. 300 in
cash from the ISTT office. The completed form along with 6 passport size
photographs, all mark sheet and certificates and other required documents will
have to be submitted to the ISTT office within the scheduled time.
